This book series is everything that is fun about paranormal romance! It has laugh out loud moments, it has werewolves, and vampires, and other fun things that go bump in the night, and it has crazy steamy scenes with lots of sexual tension.
Hanna Harvey is recently divorced, jobless and has three cats to support. She also has a Masters degree in art, and a deep love of all things artistic. When she sees a job opening as a personal assistant to Mark Abernathy at his gallery, she fudges her resume a smidge and gets the job. But things get a little hairy at the museum (literally!) when Detective James Morrison accuses Abernathy of murdering women who are found with their throats torn out in a canine-like fashion.
This book is everything I look for in a comfort read. When I say I laughed out loud, I mean that I got crazy looks from people when I would just spontaneously laugh at parts in this book. As funny as it is, it doesn’t lay off of that delicious sexual tension that I love in a spicy romance. And honestly, who doesn’t love a book series with werewolves, vampires, and all the other paranormal goodies out there?
Thanks so much to Cynthia St. Aubin and Oliver Heber Books for providing me with an eARC via NetGalley of Love Binds in exchange for my honest review!
