Shopping for a Highlander by Julia Kent

I love a man in a kilt!

Are you like me with a thing for a big Scottish pro footballer (soccer player if you’re American)? You aren’t prepared for the outrageously sexy and hysterically funny Hamish and his handler, Amy.

Hamish is a in the running for some lucrative endorsement deals, but his sexual escapades are putting them in jeopardy. When a sex tape comes out with himself and the team owner’s daughter, it’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. Amy is Hamish’s sister in law, and has just been hired by the team’s management consulting team. Her relationship with Hamish makes her the perfect candidate for the task of keeping Hamish’s little soldier in his pants, which is shaping up to be a monumentally difficult task.

The chemistry that comes from these two is off the charts, and the banter (involving the incredible Scottish brogue) is everything I’ve come to love about Julia Kent books. This one is a slow burn, with an HEA that makes the burn totally worth it. *Chef’s kiss* perfection!

I received an eArc of this book in exchange for my honest review.
